Internal and external crowdsourcing are not mutually exclusive. Used together, they can enable organizations to get better results from their innovation efforts faster, while remaining on budget. In the second part of this two-part joint webinar series, we'll do a deeper dive into both the Ideawake and HeroX platforms to teach you how to tap into the wisdom of your employees and the public in the remote environment. Reserve your seat here.
Join in for a compare and contrast session with two global leaders setting the pace in the innovation market. This is an opportunity to participate in a conversation with CEOs Christian Cotichini of HeroX and Tim Bernstein of yet2 as they deliberate which approach works best for different innovation challenges. What defines Crowdsourcing vs. Tech Scouting? When would you use one over the other? Would you use them together? Would you use them sequentially? From both the positives and negatives a new strategic approach might just emerge. Be there to see which one comes out on top. Reserve your seat now!

The Challenge: Imagine a rover the size of your Roomba®crawling the moon’s surface. These small rovers developed by NASA and commercial partners provide greater mission flexibility and allow NASA to collect key information about the lunar surface.
However, existing science payloads are too big, too heavy, and require too much power for these rovers and new, miniaturized payload designs are needed. Payloads need to be similar in size to a new bar of soap to fit cleanly inside the rover (maximum external dimensions: 100mm x 100mm x 50mm).
NASA launched the $160,000 Honey, I Shrunk the NASA Payload Challenge seeking ideas for a mini payload to make lunar exploration more effective.
Join HeroX, NASA and the winners of the 1st place winners of the challenge for a moderated panel discussion to learn about NASA’s crowdsourcing experience from start to finish.
