Hi, while we wait to be granted permissions to download the fun3d software, I have a couple of questions
-how do we compile/run this software on my local computer? does this run on linux? should we use gfortran? what is the stack? -do you have some sample datasets or test cases that we can use to validate we have are running the software successfully? and some cases for which the software could do better?
@Hector Yuen The manual refers to F95 standards which is Fortran 95 and the only operating system mentioned is Linux in the manual. I am looking at the GNU Fortran compiler.
@Hector Yuen From NASA's web page on Pleiades Supercomputer, an appropriate name. I remember learning about the Pleiades (stars) at the Settlemyre Planaterium as a kid. Not that you would need to use the same Linux distribution, etc. https://www.nas.nasa.gov/hecc/resources/pleiades.html
