The Base 11 Space Challenge Phase 2 Report Template is now available on HeroX.
We know this is a difficult period for everyone, and we wish all of our Base 11 students and their families health and safety in this remarkable time. All teams have been affected by the school closures and stay-at-home orders put in place to respond to the coronavirus pandemic. The Phase 2 Report deadline has been extended until December 2020. When it is time to submit your Phase 2 Report, you will be sharing files via two platforms, just as with Phase 1:
- HeroX Submission form (available at a later date)
- 3DEXPERIENCE Platform (instructions here)
As always, it's best not to wait til the last minute. If possible, teams are strongly encouraged to work on any aspects of the Phase 2 Report that do not require in-person meetings or testing. Remember, unexpected challenges come up in real-world engineering projects all the time, and require flexibility and creativity. This is one of those times.
NOTE: New Thrust Termination Requirement
In the Phase 2 Report Template you will notice a new section on thrust termination. Details about this new requirement will be published in a separate document, following a final review from the Safety Council and our partners. Please include the details as described in that new document in this section of your Phase 2 report.
