You’ll be matched with your mentor by this date through an email introduction. Once you've been matched, don't delay, you'll only have from October 21st - Nov 18th to flesh out your project. If you have not been matched with a mentor, please contact Natalie at natalie.betts@austintexas.gov
October 18th is the deadline to post an initial concept statement and mentorship request on HeroX. You may request a specific mentor (see bios of the mentors at http://reversepitch.org/whos-who) or request specific expertise areas (sales, manufacturing, marketing, etc.). We will do our best to accommodate requests and match you with a mentor that meets your needs, but cannot guarantee you’ll receive your requested mentor. At this stage, you are welcome (and encouraged!) to post more than one concept statement and for multiple materials. However, each entrepreneur will be matched with one mentor only, not with one mentor per idea submitted. In addition, each entrepreneur will only be able to submit one idea at the finalist application stage. Also, don't worry that you don't have all the details about your concept at this stage. You can flesh out and update your concept throughout the competition.
Join us at the Atlassian Austin (303 Colorado St, Austin, TX 78701) from 6-8 pm to learn about the materials you'll can work with. You must attend this event in order to participate in the [Re]verse Pitch Competition.
