Dr. Subhash C. Singh is a scientist at Institute of Optics, University of Rochester and an Associate Professor in GPL Laboratory at Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics (CIOMP). He received his Ph.D. degree in Physics from University of Allahabad, India in 2009. Prior to joining the Guo Group, Dr. Singh was an IRCSET-EMPOWER Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Dublin City University, Ireland for two years and DST-SERB Young Scientist at University of Allahabad, India for three years. Dr. Singh has more than ten years of research experience in a wide range of field including lasers, plasma, nanomaterials, spectroscopy, and energy applications. He has published more than 100 articles in high IF refereed journals and conference proceedings. His current research interest includes development of materials for water sanitation, space and electronic device cooling, solar and thermal energy harvesting and energy storage. Dr. Singh served as main editor for Wiley-VCH book “Nanomaterials; Processing and characterization with lasers” and guest editor for special issues of many journals.
