GLITCH

Agro-Disease-Predictor is the project that contain drone and software part
which will predict the disease of the crop within 6-7 days of affecting to it.
The drone is fully autonomous and it don’t require any pilot to fly it.
The farmer is not aware about how to predict the diseases of the crops in
various climatic conditions. So, due to this crops got affected by disease
and farmer don’t have even idea about that, so this results in less
production. Farmers take loan for agriculture but due to less production
they are not able to pay it back to bank so this results in increasing the
suicide rate of the farmers.
This project can overcome such type of problems by providing better
solution.
TECHNICAL PRAPOSAL
Agro-De-Predictor is the project that has ability to predict the future of the
crop related to the diseases that will going to cause to that crop. So,
coming to the project. This project contains two parts, Software and
Hardware. The hardware part contains a drone and the software part
contains python scripts that’s trained with deep neural network. So, in
hardware part the drone is fully autonomous and will go into the farm time
and start sending the video feed to the server which contains the software
part (Python Scripts). This will analyse the Video feed to highlight the
name of crop, name of disease and treatment for it. Most of the Diseases
are due to the butterflies. Butterflies are coming in the field of crop and
then they lay eggs on the crops, after 6-7 days the baby insects will come
outside from that eggs. That baby insects feed themselves on the leaves of
the crop. These insects are main cause of disease. So, my project also
trained for such type of diseases, predicted by the action of butterfly only.
Other than butterflies many other insects come in the fields for feeding
purpose, so this project is also capable for the detection and prediction of
the crop. Also, it uses weather conditions for exact prediction of the
diseases.

I made this Agro-De-Predictor at my home during my vacations in which
usually I make something innovative (my hobby). This time when I was in
my home town I saw that farmers can’t get their crop production as they
expected because of various reasons like diseases that cannot be cured in
time, natural disasters and wild animals. So, I made a drone and it is
combined with the machine learner python scripts (deep neural network of
diseases of crops) I used these microcontrollers and various other sensors
that can make my drone more
HOW IT IS DIFFERENT
It is new, unique and in general it is different from all disease prediction
technology. It has autonomous flight mechanism which means we don’t
need to the fly using remote. I set there a timer so at day and time it will go
and take video feed from field and send it to the server. It is compact and
very useful to the farmers. It has very large range i.e. 1.8 to 3 km wide.
