Remember, your team's Interim Update is due Jan. 11.  You probably don't want to write a 100 page report, and to be honest, we don't want to read 3,000 pages, either! This update is a formal check-in between your team and the Base 11 Space Challenge, and while completing the form is mandatory, it is not a judged component of the competition.

There are six sections in the interim update:

  1. Update your team roster including bios, photos, media releases, and proof of enrollment for all new team members
  2. System-level status update. Provide an update of where you are with each of the subsystems, what challenges you're facing, and how far along you expect to be by the March Phase 1 deadline. For some of the subsystems, you may have very little to report at this point in the process. That's OK!
  3. Safety. Share incident reports and info status of trainings for team members (e.g., did you obtain the LOX training from NASA? If so, how has it been used?)
  4. Business & Marketing. Give insight into your fundraising efforts and successes to date, and how your project is tracking against its budget.
  5. Outreach. Let us know if you're partnering with a college or high school, and what that partnership looks like.
  6. Video Diary. Help us get to know you, your teammates, and your rocket project. Have fun!

Everyone have a safe and enjoyable winter break!
