3. Opportunity: Which pillar of well-being, and which aspect of that particular pillar, are being addressed by the idea? In what way does it influence a pillar? What type of individual and community would benefit from the idea?
All three pillars of well being are addressed. This proposed solution anlyses the efficacy of acoustic myography and TDCS treatments in relation to physical activity (yoga)(muscle movement) for improving cognitive/physical outcomes. Acoustic myography (Muscle sound) represents the functions of each muscle group during complex movements. TDCS is a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment that uses direct electrical currents to stimulate specific parts of the brain. This benefits everyone.
4. Innovation: Why is your idea unique, novel, and/or impactful? What will the future look like if we’re successful in bringing your idea to life? How does the proposed solution differ from existing solutions addressing human well-being?
My proposed solution is unique/impactful because this furthers or scientific understanding of biomarkers. Gaining more insight and understanding towards biomarkers is important because there currently is not enough research being done. This research could provide preventitive actions to be taken place to avoid/cure diseases in the mind and body. This design is to quantify yoga's effect it has on the body and mind. By using DTCS and AMG we can study the effects of yoga in relation to biomarkers.
5. Action Plan: Please justify and briefly describe the major steps needed to make this idea a reality. Does the technology and understanding exist now? Is it likely to exist in the next 3-5 years?
Host a yoga class specifically for the study of biomarkers, DTCS and AMG. Acquire scientific components for DTCS and AMG. Corralate study's/findings with a research project/program. This technology and understanding exists. This tech and understanding will definitely exist in the next 3-5 years. With implemention of this program we could provide more accurate scientific research/study for biomarkers.
