Helping Hands Headband Machine
Customers create custom headbands with a variety of designs, and an identical headband will be donated to charity.
3. Opportunity: Which pillar of well-being, and which aspect of that particular pillar, are being addressed by the idea? In what way does it influence a pillar? What type of individual and community would benefit from the idea?
This idea addresses and influences the pillar of community because it fosters a love for the community among customers by encouraging them to engage the less fortunate around them and by putting a face to their donation. Foster children, orphans, and other impoverished children would most benefit from the idea.
4. Innovation: Why is your idea unique, novel, and/or impactful? What will the future look like if we’re successful in bringing your idea to life? How does the proposed solution differ from existing solutions addressing human well-being?
If our idea is brought to life then in the future Lululemon customers will be able to express their individuality by designing their own headband. This will allow for customer convenience in a way that is engaging and fun for customers.
5. Action Plan: Please justify and briefly describe the major steps needed to make this idea a reality. Does the technology and understanding exist now? Is it likely to exist in the next 3-5 years?
Lululemon will need to partner with a major machine equipment company in order to produce the devices. These devices would need to be able to take a blank headband, print on whatever design or text that the customer desires, and add on whatever color logo the customer decides.
