AI is present everywhere, so let's bring AI to the store, showing virtual assistants that welcome people and perform basic introduction.
3. Opportunity: Which pillar of well-being, and which aspect of that particular pillar, are being addressed by the idea? In what way does it influence a pillar? What type of individual and community would benefit from the idea?
Virtual assistants are everywhere in our lives, showing one directly in a store is a futuristic idea that will bring fresh emotions to people. Also the assistant can show the products in its "body" in a blink of an eye giving the user a perspective. Thinking about the possibilities we have no limits, imagine a virtual you for the people who want it, showing them the clothing while exercising or just all the corners without needing to change every time.
4. Innovation: Why is your idea unique, novel, and/or impactful? What will the future look like if we’re successful in bringing your idea to life? How does the proposed solution differ from existing solutions addressing human well-being?
I have seen something near in scifi movies, but nothing like this today. This will help increase the satisfaction rate due people watching the clothing more dynamically than in a solid mannequin, imagine the changing colors instantly, the sizes, shapes, etc.
5. Action Plan: Please justify and briefly describe the major steps needed to make this idea a reality. Does the technology and understanding exist now? Is it likely to exist in the next 3-5 years?
There are hologram generators that will show the agent ready, there are AI that can be attached to this. The stores will need to be upgraded to have the projectors and the computers that will allow the characters to be displayed and allow them to interact with people. Maybe there is no current option to show a realistic hologram that can walk through the store while talking to people, this must be created from scratch, but starting with the basics will help us to understand better ways to create places where the character can be present most of the time. To be concrete I'm talking about an scenario near to "Holodeck" presented by "Star trek the next generation" series. Of course the hardware used for this idea will be different, mostly projectors of imaging and some sort of ceiling that keep the projectors with possibilities to be moved all around the store.
