Austin Animal Center & the partners of the AAC use lots of cat litter. To save taxpayers money, spent grain can be used as cat litter & give NFP another resource for litter. Currently on the market, grass grain is light weight, it is minimal dust, very absorbent, doesn't stick to a pan, & controls odor well. It retails at premium prices.
