Comprehensive data sets are integral to the enforcement planning process. Good data helps inspectors and investigators set priorities, identify specific environmental problems, and locate problem areas. An application with the ability to collect and disseminate accurate and actionable data regarding environmental conditions and concerns has the potential to improve the response of environmental inspectors and investigators.
Jacob holds a BA in Anthropology from SUNY Geneseo, and a Masters of Applied Anthropology from the University of Maryland, College Park. He has worked for the Maryland Department of the Environment performing surface water quality sampling across the state of Maryland, and has over ten years of experience with DOEE in environmental enforcement, investigation, and emergency response.
We've successfully collaborated winning and fulfilling on NASA contracts through their Center of Excellence for Collaborative Innovation. HeroX is positioned as the social network for innovation and therefore has a broader and more uncredentialed crowd, which pairs well with our Topcoder crowd of experts in development and design. Their team is great to work with, we've had the pleasure of hosting webinars and other joint initiatives.
