bio
I am passionate about the future of work. Traditional business practices place profits over prosperity, middle management over autonomy, and assembly-line thinking over holistic thinking. As founder and CEO at Commerce Kitchen, I believe in prosperity, employee autonomy, creative thinking, risk-taking, and the power of open communication. At Commerce Kitchen, we cook up software. We are a dev studio that began in 2003, with a focus in Digital Health, education, and workflow automation platforms. We are skilled designers, developers, and strategists who architect high-performance websites, offer ongoing production support, HIPAA security compliance, and user engagement strategy. In 2015, Commerce Kitchen was a winner of Colorado Companies to Watch and Best Places to Work, and in 2014 we were chosen for the small business of the year award from the Colorado Women's Chamber. In 2016, we are a top 10 winner for Colorado’s Healthiest Employers. In between it all, I try to find time to put my Personal Chef Certificate to use, further my studies as a candidate for Guild Wine Master Sommelier, and study Flamenco guitar.
