Stephanie Shapiro is excited about applying interesting methods to find creative solutions to major challenges. Stephanie worked at XPRIZE for several years designing prizes focused on benefiting humanity and fostering industry breakthroughs in the fields of Education, Energy/Environment, and Life Sciences. Prior to that, Stephanie spent 7 years in the nonprofit sector working with a variety of groups including helping homeless individuals re-enter the workforce and creating a place for kids with HIV/AIDS to enjoy summer camp. She was an Education Pioneers fellow engaging in education reform and currently serves as the Manager of Partnerships and Strategic Growth at Teachers Test Prep, an organization committed to providing tools to help aspiring teachers succeed. After receiving an MBA from Loyola Marymount University, Stephanie taught an undergraduate Social Entrepreneurship at LMU, encouraging students to address social and environmental challenges through a business lens. Stephanie is passionate about developing creative, intentional communities; in her spare time, she is scheming up new adventures with her husband and playing with her 2-year old daughter, Hazel.
