Hello! My name is Sophia Collier, and I'm currently a senior undergraduate student at Emory University. I major in Environmental Science (B.S.) and minor in sustainability studies, with a passion for food and water security, environmental education and policy. I have taken many classes on climate change and discussed different clean energy initiatives through projects and presentations, and thought the Herox challenge was a great way to apply what I've learned and to learn more. I am based in Atlanta and have grown up here, so I am familiar with the feasibility of solar energy in my city and have studied different policies that have been tried over the years and their efficacy.
