Samuel is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California who has been in developing, testing, certifying, manufacturing, and installing products for the solar industry for 20 years. During that time, he has worked for several solar startups eventually launching his own highly successful business, TECSI Solar Inc., in 2016. Samuel is a problem solver who has leveraged his balance of creative yet practical thinking to develop dozens of successful products. He is the primary inventor for 9 patents as well as dozens of other inventions filed for patent protection. Samuel has experience developing all types of a solar products including residential and commercial racking, trackers, PV modules, and BOS components. He is an expert in code compliance and is an active member of several code development committees including, UL 61215/61730 for PV modules, UL 2703 for racking systems, and ASCE 7-22 for design loads. Samuel is a focused and tenacious individual who knows enjoys working with others to solve problems and advance solar technologies to reduce cost and increase accessibility.
