“Exploration of other planets, and being part of the team that achieved it”
I am an electronic engineer at RAL Space in the UK, a department of STFC UKRI. It means I get the chance to work on real space projects like lunar prospectors, weather satellites, and quantum technology demonstrators. I am extremely lucky to be where I am today, and I intend to work hard to improve the space industry, and be a key part in what happens in the coming years of space exploration.
My main interests are around rover systems, and how they can be used to improve the lives of astronauts, increasing redundancy and improving reliability of the big future missions in space. All of that will start on the Moon, but will soon spread to Mars and beyond.
