Mayur Kamalakar is highly motivated innovator and business professional with intense experience in product development and technology commercialization. He holds MSc. In Solar Engineering from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell and BSc. In Mechanical Engineering. Mayur has over 8 years of experience in designing and managing over 2 GW of utility scale solar + Battery storage projects. Mayur has worked on a novel solar tracker solution of which around 150 MW is being deployed in the market generating over $66 million in annual revenue. He was a key member in designing to final launch of this solar tracker in the market and managed a team of six full time employees. Mayur has a vast experience in product development, conducting market research and formulating product roadmaps. He has extensive experience in the EV charging space. Mayur is also a part time adjunct faculty at UMass Lowell and teach subjects like heat transfer and thermo-fluid applications to undergraduate students. He currently holds two patents in the EV charging space. Mayur is actively involved in social welfare activities and is the President at Rotaract Club of Boston.
