I attend Fisk University as a sophomore Physics and Math major with a minor in Computer Science. At Fisk, I find myself able to freely express myself through various clubs and organizations while also challenging myself in a rigorous academic environment, with challenge being something that I have valued since I was a high school student. While I do enjoy this aspect of Physics, I also appreciate the solidity of this field because it is the foundation of what we know about our universe. All other branches of physical science are built from our understanding of physics, so in learning something new in physics, one opens an entirely new and exciting path for scientific discoveries, the advancement of our knowledge, and the application thereof. I plan to pursuing a career in research so that I can contribute to this brilliant drive of humanity to discovery, learn, and create.
