Specialized in the design, processing and analysis of acoustic, microseismic and ultrasonic monitoring projects, applied at scales ranging from laboratory tests on rock samples to local and regional induced seismicity. Worked at ASC since 2005 providing services to the oil & gas, geological storage and geological engineering industries. Worked in several international collaborative projects in mining, radioactive-waste isolation, petroleum and geothermal sectors. Developed algorithms for the statistical analysis of microseismic catalogues and their correlation with numerical models for the interpretation of rock fracture processes. Formal education includes bachelor degrees in Physics and Geology at the University of Granada and PhD in Earth Sciences at the University of Liverpool
