From 2014-2017 was Chair of the Board of Supervisors, Gloucester County, Virginia. One of seven elected officials governing a county of 38,000 people. Responsible for developing and executing an annual budget of $110 million. As the Board representative to the county Economic Development Authority and Planning Commission led the charge to approve the county’s first solar utility facility, ushering in a new era of renewable energy and green jobs for Gloucester County.
1996-2010: Vice President, Whitney, Bradley & Brown, Inc. Led corporate business development for the Southeast U.S. with 22 executive-level consultants engaged in both production and sales.
1972-1996: US Air Force Retired as a Colonel and Chief of the Air Force’s Weapons Requirements Division responsible for determining the required operational characteristics for all new Air Force weapons. With over 3000 hours in fighters, served as Vice Commander of the 8th Fighter Wing, Kunsan, Korea. Commanded the NATO coalition fighter group at Aviano, Italy, consisting of 70 Air Force, Marine and British combat aircraft and 800 personnel engaged in the initial phases of the Balkans conflict.
