Dr Obasanjo earned a PhD in Epidemiology with a minor in Immunology from Cornell University and a Masters from University of California, Davis. She also has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from University of Ibadan, Nigeria, obtained in 1988. She is an author of over 30 scholarly publications and her current research focuses on improving social determinants of health for populations living in poverty across the world.
