I serve as a geneticist working with genome databases associated with small grains such a wheat, barley, rye and oat; and have background experience in the areas of microbiology, plant pathology, and molecular biology with a healthy dose of high-performance computer expertise. Interests include using machine learning methods to address crop improvement.
