Hi I’m Georgie. I specialise in tropical coastal management. I have been working with coral reef ecosystems and the coastal communities that depend on them for the last 8 years. I am currently based in the Western Indian Ocean region (Seychelles and Mauritius) managing a small conservation NGO, running reef restoration projects, engagement programmes and innovative private sector partnerships. Since experiencing the global coral bleaching event of 2016 and the impact it had on the reefs we have tried to nurture, I have become determined to find new solutions to the old and new threats facing reefs and empower people to become part of the solution.
