Fritz Spitzer was born in Regensburg, Germany on the 7th of May, 1970. Studying Geography at the University of Regensburg he graduated with a diploma in 1996. Later he worked as scientist for the University of Regensburg as well as for the Umweltforschungszentrum in Leipzig-Halle. Since 1997 he is working for GEOSYSTEMS Germany. His main responsibilities are mostly the customization of software, consulting, training on remote sensing and raster data management as well as system design for customers in industry and government sectors. Fritz Spitzer has been in his current position as CTO since 2010
