I am an Enrolled Member of the White Earth Reservation and currently serve as Tribal and Community Liaison for Enbridge which is a leading North America energy infrastructure company. My seasoned 50+ years of working in Indian Country, including serving as White Earth Tribal Chairman, has brought hundreds of millions of dollars into reservations in MN, which include major solar projects. I worked for the Red Lake Indian Reservation for 5 years in the 1990’s and again for 12 years in the 2000’s. My tenure and workload at Red Lake was focused on the following six components: job creation; funding acquisition; labor force training; business development; renewable energy; and community infrastructure.
