Both my co-worker Bonnie McKay and myself (Duane Ironstand) are currently working within one of the five regional health authorities in Manitoba (Prairie Mountain Health). Bonnie McKay holds the Regional Coordinator Aboriginal Health position, and as for myself, I am currently holding the First Nations & Metis Health Liaison position. Both Bonnie, and myself are the communication links between the First Nations communities and the Prairie Mountain Health in regards to Health services. Both Bonnie and myself are of Aboriginal decent (Ojibway), and have been in the Health field for 20+ combined years.
