Dana Cupkova holds Associate Professorship at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Architecture and directs EPIPHYTE Lab, an interdisciplinary design and research collaborative engaging issues of environmental ethics in manufacturing. Cupkova's design work engages the built environment at the intersection of design-space and ecology, engaging computational methods, thermodynamic processes, and geometric logics of material formations relative to embodied energy and material upcycling.
