Chicko Sousa, mechanical engineer with international experience in countries such as Sweden, Germany, Spain, Austria, United States, among others, in which developed recycling processes aimed at the automotive market. I worked at Volvo do Brasil and headquartered in Skoved, Sweden, in the Powertrain area. In 2002, I joined the sustainability market, specializing in Waste Management and the development of new Recycling processes, having designed and managed 13 waste recycling and waste management plants. As an specialist in materials, I have created waste recycling processes with more than 40 different applications and developed more than 100 formulations of composite polymers homologated in the most diverse processes: automotive, logistic, civil construction, food, paper, packaging, among others. Besides that, I developed the most varied designs of Circular Economy and Short Looping Recycling, applied in practice, creating new processes and innovative products in industrial and continuous volumes. In 2014, I've started the architecture of the SaaS PlataformaVerde, a startup considered as Technology Pioneer of 2018 by the World Economic Forum, using the concept of Blockchain as a Service in order to digest the garbage. At WEF, I joined ASaP (Cleaner Production Acceleration Group), responsible for defining the parameters of Industry 4.0 to be achieved by the world industrial sector by 2030.
