“Building human-based systems to predict treatment response earlier and more precisely”
Ann H. Klopp, MD, PhD, is a radiation oncologist and translational scientist at MD Anderson Cancer Center specializing in gynecologic cancers. Her research focuses on defining how spatial radiation gradients and immune dynamics shape tumor evolution in humans. She leads multidisciplinary efforts integrating organoid platforms, immune profiling, and mathematical modeling to accelerate personalized treatment prediction. Dr. Klopp’s work aims to replace animal-dependent discovery systems with human-based, data-driven methodologies that improve efficiency, precision, and clinical translation in oncology.
