I am a young entrepreneur who is passionate about helping people gain access to mental health care the moment they need it. I started volunteering at various social services agencies from the time I was 13 years old, and then I pursued a career in mental health counseling. I have worked in different locations in Oregon, New York City, and San Antonio, Texas. After watching many people fall through the cracks of a broken system, I decided to stop working within the systems which exacerbated the problems and knew I had to start a new system which would allow individuals to access mental health care before they reached the bottom of the barrel. I paired up with a psychiatrist in San Antonio, Texas and we are now implementing this idea at Sigma Mental Health Urgent Care.
