The Young Entrepreneurs Summit (YES) is a fully student-organized international competition that brings together teams from around the world to pitch their ideas to judges and investors under the motto “Dare to Stand Out.” Participants gain access to a global network of founders, mentors, and experts supported through mentorship, workshops, and coaching.

We welcome professionals who wish to share their expertise, as well as sponsors interested in cooperation and visibility to help empower the next generation of entrepreneurs.

Background

The Young Entrepreneur Summit (YES) in Bremen is a fully student-organized international startup competition hosted on the Constructor University campus in Germany. Since its launch, it has grown into a global platform that attracts over 100+ applications from more than 60 universities across 20+ countries each year, offering more than €4,500 in prizes and early-stage support for promising ventures. Designed as a “from vision to venture” springboard, the summit guides participants through several months of structured incubation. After an open application round, selected teams receive feedback from experienced founders and entrepreneurship professionals and join webinars on key topics such as business modeling, funding, and go-to-market strategy. The top ten teams are then paired with personal mentors who coach them in the final phase and help them refine their pitch. This journey culminates in a three-day final event in Bremen, where the finalists present their ideas to a jury of investors, industry experts, and academic leaders and compete for seed funding to kick-start their companies. Beyond the competition itself, YES serves as a hub that links students with the regional and international startup ecosystem. The summit is supported by local startup accelerators, financial institutions, and corporate partners—such as Starthaus Bremen and Sparkasse Bremen—who contribute sponsorships, workshops, and networking opportunities. Youth Entrepreneur Summit Through this collaboration between students, universities, and industry, the Young Entrepreneur Summit aims to empower a new generation of founders who create innovative, sustainable businesses and positive social impact worldwide.

Teamwork makes the Dream Work

Nov. 27, 2025, 6 a.m. PST by Lulu

Have you thought about forming a team to compete in the Young Entrepreneur Summit?

At this point in the challenge, it’s normal to start feeling a bit overwhelmed. Perhaps you’ve hit a roadblock, or you’re noticing the gaps in your own skillset. Forming a team is a great way to overcome these hurdles.

It will take time to form a team, so start reaching out to people now. You can connect with people in the forum, or you can browse the whole HeroX community by specialization at https://herox.com/crowdsourcing-community.

Why form a team?

1.  Keep each other accountable

We all know that deadlines are tough, and it’s especially difficult to commit to a schedule by yourself. Creating checkpoints and milestones with your team members will help you keep each other on track.

2.  Share skills

Everyone’s got a different set of skills. Have a great idea for a project, but need someone to help make it a reality? Got an innovative technical idea, but need help pulling it into an overall project? You need a team!

You can share expertise and specialized knowledge with your teammates. You’ll learn a ton, and your project will be all the better for it.

3.  Reduce the workload

Why do all the work yourself? Divide and conquer the workload to save time and ease burnout. If you have an off week, your team can pick up the slack — and vice versa.

4.  Make it fun

Your team will be by your side through all the highs and lows of the process, and they will make it all the more fun. This is also a great way to meet people with a shared set of interests. Just think, these may be your new best buds.
