Implementation science shows that an evidence-based program's success at scale critically depends on "contextual fit” which is its alignment with a community's real-life conditions and values. By actively involving the people an intervention is designed for, we move beyond rigorous research to create programs that are not just effective on paper, but deeply relevant and sustainable in practice.
