MOBILE SOLAR SYSTEMS save Soldiers & People lives
short description
Mobile Hybrid Solar Systems in contested military operations and humanitarian assistance & disaster relief operations will save lives.
Full Description
According to the CNNMoney (Steve Hargreaves @CNNMoney Tech August 17, 2011) – “One out of eight U.S. Army casualties in Iraq was the result of protecting fuel convoys”. ( https://money.cnn.com/2011/08/17/technology/military_energy/index.htm ) and many lives were lost in Puerto Rico after the hurricane in 2017 due to lack of power. The military, FEMA, 1st Responder Government agencies, and NGOs need Mobile Hybrid Solar System to save lives. The greatest benefit in energy self-sufficiency through solar PV or hybrid solutions in contested military operations has nothing to do with cost reductions but to save lives. The reduced fuel replenishment cycle to Forward Operating Bases (FOBs) means less convoys on the road, reducing the risk of vehicle accidents and exposure to improvised explosive devices (IEDs) or unplanned engagement with enemy forces. For the military, clean renewable energy SAVES LIVES.
