The Problem

Create a sophisticated trading system that will be "By the Crowd, Of the Crowd and For the Crowd". The system will become a public platform leveraging affordable investment from the Crowd powered by Crowd wisdom and technology for collective market moves for mutual profitability.

Current Financial Market is an irony, crowded with big players with sophisticated technology, leading edge market insight and deep pockets, where the average crowd like myself has little or no place. Market movers have always influenced the market to their advantage. I would like to give that advantage to everyone where collective human wisdom and technology can operate and become a dominant force in the market making it equitable for all.

The Challenge Breakthrough

The leading market insight and technology and access to large investment will no longer be available to the select few but will become accessible to the Crowd. I was compelled to do this for my older brother who works 7 days a week like millions of equally hard working people. This breakthrough will supplement their income, enrich their lives and provide them with family time.

Additional rules

Who can participate:
The Challenge is open to all. To be eligible to compete, you must comply with all the terms of the Challenge as defined in the Challenge-Specific Agreement.

Selection of Winner:
Based on the winning criteria, ONE prize will be awarded for a total of $5000.00: DETAILS. In case of a tie, the winner will be selected at the discretion of the Judging Panel.

Voting (optional):
All votes are subject to review. Any competitor using unfair methods to solicit votes will be automatically disqualified from the challenge.

Registration and Submissions:
All Teams must be registered by 12:00 PM Eastern Time to be eligible for the prize. No registrations will be accepted after this date and no changes to Teams may be made after this date.

All Team submission materials must be submitted online on or before May 30, 2016 at 12:00 PM Eastern Time. No submissions will be accepted after this time. Incomplete submissions will not be accepted. All submissions must be received online, via the Challenge website, and all uploads can be in PDF format only. Submission reporting requirements are detailed in Judging.

Challenge Guidelines are subject to change. Registered competitors will receive notification when changes are made, however, we highly encourage you to visit the Challenge Site often to review updates.

Here are some broad guidelines for developing the BoldTrader System:

1. The system must be OpenSource
2. Must be operable in all financial markets i.e. Future, Forex, Stocks, etc.
3. Must include a definitive entry, profit taking, stop loss and exist strategy
4. Must be operable on generally available Trading platforms like NinjaTrader, MT4, TradeStation, ThinkorSwim, etc.
5. Must include robust Risk management strategy
6. Must be operable in any timeframe including non-time based charts
7. Must include a minimum of 2 strategies for trading the market
8. Must be back-tested (min 5 years) and forward tested (Replay) for (min 5 years)  
9. Must have 90% success rate without curve-fitting
10. Must be a profitable system
