Sydney Johnson serves as the Community Support Lead/Environmental Scientist for TBEC, bringing a strong background in marine and environmental science. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Master’s degree in Marine Resources Management from Texas A&M University at Galveston. Sydney’s career spans field biology, environmental policy, and grant administration, with notable expertise in grant writing. Over the past three years, she has helped clients successfully secure over $126 million in funding to support initiatives in energy, food security, hazard mitigation, infrastructure development, and community planning. Driven by a passion for empowering communities, Sydney is committed to connecting stakeholders with the tools and resources necessary to make informed decisions and implement lasting change.
