Mr. Hulsey is a 1977 graduate in Ocean Engineering from Texas A&M University. He started his career in Morgan City, La. supervising construction of drilling/production platforms and their installation and hook-up in the Gulf of Mexico. He has planned and executed drilling and development programs on platform, jack-up, drill ships and semi-submersible drilling rigs for over four decades. Mr. Hulsey was an Independent Petroleum Engineering consultant from 1997-2017. He is the inventor of the Offshore Electric Power Generating System (patent pending) which utilizes obsolete jack-up and semi-submersible drilling rigs and offshore drilling technology coupled with hydro-kinetic turbines or current energy converters to generate electricity from ocean currents around the world. He is currently the President & Founder of Gulf Stream HydroEnergy LLC.
