I have been a cartographer all my working life, initially training in 'manual' cartography before moving on to digital mapping in the early 1970's. Until the mid '80s I worked entirely in the UK but this was followed by a period working in the USA. I returned to the UK to work on a particular project in 1988 and set up my own company in 1992 which has continued to the present time.
