Michael Haupt is a certified Strategic Foresight Practitioner (SFP) and author of Blockchain for Impact — A Gentle, Non-Technical Introduction to the Technology that Wants to Change the World Just as Much as You Do, available late 2018. Michael’s 20-year early corporate career included directing multi-million-dollar technology projects in 16 cities on 6 continents. He later transitioned into the role of Marketing Technologist, where he created a bridge between Marketing and Technology departments in large corporates. After leaving the corporate world in 2013, he co-founded an Artificial Intelligence and Big Data start-up called OpenDNA, which listed on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2016. In 2017, Michael took time out from his day job to pursue Project 2030, an audaciously bold, sweeping plan to decisively eradicate poverty, hunger, disease and inequality through an entirely new social agreement for humanity, built on blockchain.
