Kami has won top honors in the Santa Clara County Synopsys Science and Cal State Science Fairs for her biological projects focusing on the ocean and environmental sciences. She also presents at AGU conferences, AT&T Discovery Days Science and does outreach to various Bay Area schools in both robotics and scientific exploration. Kami is working on her Girl Scout Gold Award, is a leader of the Notre Dame Janksters Robotics team and raises chickens and guinea pigs in her free time.
