After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Justin began his career in the oil and gas industry working as a DST/TCP field engineer for Schlumberger. During this time, he performed drill stem testing and tubing conveyed perforating operations as part of full package, exploratory well tests on high flow rate, gas wells in the Amazon jungle as well as deep water, high pressure/high temperature projects in Brazil’s Campos Basin. Additionally, he spent time in the Gulf of Mexico performing perforating and flow back jobs for the U.S. offshore market.​ ​With a desire to steer his career towards research and development, Justin later went on to accept a design engineering position with Weatherford's Well Completions Technology group in Houston, TX. During this time, he gained experience with a variety of technologies across multiple domains including open and cased hole completions, gravel pack systems, and thru-tubing intervention. Justin has been a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas since 2015.
