Hello, my name is Jonathan C Hernandez I am an undergraduate student majoring in Engineering Automotive Systems at Arizona State University- Polytechnic campus. Since I am a first generation Mexican-American I am the first in my family to go to college. I was first able to gain experience on an engineering project the Arizona Space Grant Consortium's high altitude ballooning project at the community college. This allowed me to later get an opportunity to be part of a workshop host by NASA at there Wallops Flight Facility. During the RockOn workshop, we built the experiments consisting of but not limited to multiple accelerators, Geiger counter, temperature, & altitude. These sensors were launched on a two-stage Terrier-Orion ut of the Wallops Flight Facility in West Virginia.
