“The problem solving required to increase the efficiency of things we take for granted.”
bio
I am currently the director of operations for a renewable engineering consultancy specializing in geothermal systems. Originally from the US, my career in energy has taken me all around the globe and still continues to do so. My current role involves working as an experienced operations engineer and site supervisor working within the conventional and renewable energy industries. My daily tasks demonstrate strong technical understanding, engineering problem solving, leadership qualities, and business management tools to deliver measurable results. As an energy engineer, I am applying established field supervisor experience toward managing a services and consulting division aimed to assist clients by developing innovative engineering solutions and managing projects efficiently. These skillsets are derived from practical, hands on work experience throughout different business sectors internationally. Key areas of engineering experience include upstream well services such as: drilling, well testing, and reservoir analysis; as well as business management/strategy expertise such as: risk assessment and analysis, cost analysis, asset integrity strategies, innovative engineering implementation, HSE policy and procedure implementation, multiple contractor management, operational troubleshooting, procurement and contract negotiation, and engineering project management.
