Dan Greenberger joined ACE in 2017 to help bring energy efficiency, water conservation and renewable energy to owners of multifamily affordable housing, nonprofits and religious institutions. Dan helps in managing each project through the feasibility, design, finance, construction and maintenance phases. Dan also serves as a resource for communications, branding and innovation services that advance the missions of ACE and its clients. He draws great satisfaction in helping to advance environmental, social and economic justice to underserved neighborhoods and in helping sustain a healthier planet. Dan began his career as a copywriter, and then a creative director, at two large Chicago advertising agencies. He worked on national brands focusing primarily on TV, radio and print campaigns. After 11 years, Dan co-founded his own midsize integrated marketing communications agency in Chicago, where he added direct marketing, public relations and web development to the agency’s offerings. Over 17 years, Dan helped grow the agency to nearly 50 professionals. In 2004, Dan returned to school to study in a master’s program focusing on the Science of Creativity and Change Leadership. Here he learned how to facilitate groups to help them with strategic planning, innovation, problem solving and branding. Using his facilitation skills, Dan founded his consultancy, GPS Creative, with a mission to help organizations maximize their potential by using their own creativity. He focused on non-profit and academic organizations, working with boards to help them further their amazing and worthwhile causes. He also has written articles, taught courses and lectured on a variety of subjects relating to creativity, innovation and leadership. Dan earned his undergraduate degree at University of California at Santa Barbara.
