I am a freelance solar and ecology consultant. I work primarily with conservation-based groups through Legacy Solar Cooperative and EcoBalance Technologies, consulting on solar projects, community solar and solar for conservation practices. I also volunteer my time as a board member and Treasurer of the Couillard Solar Foundation. I am also active with two working groups with 350 WI. I am driven by solutions that reduce the consumption of fossil fuels, and I am most involved with solar energy projects in Wisconsin. I have a Master’s in Biology and have worked in conservation, sustainability and management roles for the past seven years. With EcoBalance Technologies I am working with growers and farmers to upgrade their greenhouse/hoophouse systems to solar PV greenhouses. With Legacy Solar Cooperative, I help advise on planning, achieving a sustainability target, and fundraising. I have regularly worked with teaming partners and I am successful with completing team projects. I look forward to benefiting LMI communities with solar energy and look forward to educating about the value and impact of local, distributed energy.
