“Optimizing designs and systems to power our future and doing our part to achieve net zero.”
bio
A little bit about me-I’m an industrial engineer. I spent many years in industry and worked on modeling and simulating the manufacturing of large components. How they’re made. How they’re transported. The models I designed for companies like Westinghouse saved over $20 million for large scale energy deployment. And more recently, I’ve teamed up with the Energy Systems Design Research Group at UB and the work they’re doing on blade design and cyber-physical-social systems. In between working in industry and leading Atrevida, I went down a different path for a few years teaching middle school math in a Title I school in Austin, TX. I learned a lot...like bringing out the best in others and inspiring trust; setting a vision and the goals to get there and working with a lot of different stakeholders. And it’s really all of these experiences that led me to founding Atrevida Science. And I’m working every day to do my part to accelerate the future of renewable energy.
