I teach renewable energy, off-grid energy systems, and electric circuit analysis in Baylor University's School of Engineering and Computer Science. I am the Executive Director of a small nonprofit organization focused on combatting energy poverty in poor countries. I have experience with power electronics (inverters, solar charge controllers and max power point trackers) as well as battery storage and small microgrids. My relevant experience is in solar + batteries + diesel generators, but I have a little experience in low-head pico-hydro.
