Anchen le Roux, BCOM Informatics; BSC Hons Information Technology, Microsoft Certified Developer (MCPD), Enterprise Application Developer Mrs. Le Roux has a total of 14 years‘ experience in Software Development, Systems Design, Website and Database Development with 6 years’ experience in GIS Technology and GeoSpatial Portal Development. Her proficiency in programming languages include Microsoft.NET C# and VB.Net. She is currently working for Geospace International as a Systems Analyst and GeoSpatial Software Developer. She is experienced in the creation of mobile app and software development and has specialist knowledge in the design and development of databases and reporting tools. She specializes in the design and development of Graphical User Interfaces for both desktop and internet applications She is involved in numerous Geospatial and GIS implementation projects in Southern Africa. Regarding her experience in Lesotho, she is currently the lead developer on the development of a total mapping solution for the 2016 Population and Housing Census on the SmartClient for Census geospatial platform. This project has been ongoing since 2014 and has been completed recently, but she is still providing technical assistance. Her responsibilities included GIS Software Development and Database Design and Development.
