CTO and Co-Founder of Numenos - Building Foundation models on clinico-genomic data to better predict patient outcomes to new drugs, and detect the right patients for new drugs in development. Prior to that I Spent more then a decade in many hands on and management roles in the Defense industry, in the Ministry of Defense, working on the high risk high reward problems related to Deep learning and machine learning across all domains. I initiated, managed, trained, and deployed numerous AI models solving real world problems that are less worked on by the traditional industry and academy to unique domains and datatypes which presented never-before-addressed challenges needed a newly developed solution. In the midst of the Covid-19 outbreak, I was asked by the government to help Laboratory for Epidemic Modeling and Analysis in Tel Aviv university in dealing and work on COVID 19 data, this work was published here: https://bmcpublichealth.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12889-021-10561-x I am a Physicist by training, with a Master degree in Physics from the Hebrew University, with experience in Deep learning going back to 2011.
