All drone flights require $1M liability insurance which includes Spaceport America and New Mexico Land Office as covered entities.
AMA insurance coverage requires all drone flight follow their safety code. This does not include ejecting from a rocket.
ESRA recommends all team work with Skywatch.AI for drone insurance. They are inexpensive, flexible and are usually very quick turnaround. Rocket-deployed drones must have specific coverage for that type of launch in the Certificate of Insurance.
